The Last Queen
Orphaned a day after her birth, Zaiba is adopted by King Arif and raised as his most beloved daughter. She grows up in his palace unaware of her true descent, and promptly dismisses the queer occurrences in her life.
The fourteen year old Zaiba tries hard to fit in, believing she's just like the other young girls. And... fails terribly. For just a look at her, and people knows that she's different. Not the good different, but the 'odd' different.
Her daily struggles come to an end when her father's kingdom is threatened and challenged, a swift war breaking out. Suddenly, she finds herself included among the grown-ups, no longer a child and learns secrets that plunges her into desolation, her heart torn into pieces.
And in a fortnight, Zaiba the Princess becomes a nobody.
Follow the tender-hearted yet brave Zaiba as she struggles to fit into a new identity, a new world... that is ancient and beautiful yet mysterious and magical, into a kingdom of valiant men who guard every secret jealously and beautiful women who rule every province wisely...she comes to know that nothing happens without a cause and with patience and true belief, even the destiny moulds to our own will.
