"Honey, you're bleeding..." Mrs. Morgan stated, gesturing to my arm.
I became startled as I saw a gash on my upper arm, and my sleeve soaked in a crimson red.
"Oh, it's nothing, really...." I said, grabbing my arm, feeling a bit woozy.
"Ethan, why don't you help her patch up her arm?" she asked.
"Uh, sure. I'll be right back..." Ethan said awkwardly, then ran up the stairs.
I nodded, feeling more dizzy every second. My perfect vision blurred, and I could barely hear anything. All support in my legs gave way, and I toppled onto the floor. Mrs. Morgan knelt down by my side, and said,
"Ethan, hurry! You're going to be just fine, I promi-"
Then everything went black.

I was walking to the grocery store when I thought some one was following me I turned around and saw no one there so I brushed it off by the way my name is Lara and I was being followed by someone my whole life! ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I WAS about to turn the corner when someone grabbed me and used their hands to cover mt mouth. I struggled and managed to push the person off and started sprinting down the street, yelling 'HELP'. I turned back to get a glance at the man who attacked me. I saw his face and it was Der!!! "What the hell Derek!"I shouted " I was scared shit-less that it was a kidnapper or murderer or gang member" It was NYC, who knew what happens at night and what kind of dangerous people are out there. "Shh"he said and covered my mouth. I bit his hand and he removed his hand from my mouth. "Ah, what was that for?" he yelled, his eyes getting darker as he pouted and rubbed his hand. "I don't know what you're up to but you're so being dumped"I told him. He was acting crazy and it was driving me insane because he wasn't telling me anything. He growled and ran towards him with his hands out wide to try and grab me, but I turned and kicked him in the leg as he fell to the ground. "Ha take that I took karate" I said proudly as he was groaning. I was a black belt student. I started sprinting when I turned the corner I saw Derek again with his eyes as dark as the night sky. What happened to his blue eyes?! "But you w-we-were- right there and n now you're here what? and w what happened to your eyes?"I kept stuttering. "I didn't think that the first night at my new college would end with me getting my back broken. And not in the fun way. I'm kind of annoyed about it. Not how I wanted to kick this year off. I got into my dream school, University of Miami. Big change from New York but I've loved this school since I found out what college was. I was looking forward to this for a while. I had decided to spend my first two years at a nearby community college to get my pre rec classes out of the way and save money. It was definitely a good idea, but the vibe of the school was: go to class, go home, and that's it. So to get to a big university I was excited for that cliche "college experience." I was excited to get shitfaced at a frat party, hookup with random guys, join a sorority and probably regret it. It's where you're gonna make the most mistakes, I mean it's the first time most people have complete, or almost complete freedom. Every adult ever always told me "college is where you're supposed to find yourself" and I was really hoping that would reign true. To kick the year off I wanted to have a fun night out with my new roommates who weirdly didn't have any social media so I was moving in with no prior knowledge of these two other than their names Victoria Brooks and Chloe Whitlock. I wanted to get to know them and get to know the area I'd be living in for the next two years. So it was pretty inconvenient for this shit to happen on the first fucking night." * * * * * Morgan Sinclair had expectations for her junior year at her new college: parties, roommates, clubs, friends, even classes and assignments.
