What happens when Aaron Storm, an international popstar, transfers to Kat Harp's high school? He has girls fawning over him and boys looking at him as if he was an idol, except for Kat. She thinks that he's just another flake who has no talent and the only reason he was famous was because he was good looking. She was a singer herself after all, and she knew the difference between the truth and auto tune.
" Can I help you?" I ask as politely as I could manage, tugging my arm out of his grasp.
" That depends, kitten. Do you know who I am?" He asked, his voice taking on that familiar low tone boy's used to, hmm, how do they put it? Oh yeah, 'pick up chicks'.
" Yeah, sadly. You're Aaron Storm, 'the overnight sensation'." I replied, slathering my voice in sarcasm. He looked a little taken back, good. Knock him down a few pegs on his invisible ladder. I was not one to be walked all over, and everyone in this school knew it. But I still had enough class to keep from smirking, judging by that familiar challenging glint in those green orbs, this war of words was far from over.
It's cliche, incredibly predictable, probably sounds like something you've read before, and the main character's very very very sarcastic. I warned you.
