Tyler and Josh's relationship came to a dangerous boiling point, and the losses were huge.
Now missing a part of his leg, and unable to deal with the stress of Tyler and his multiple personalities, Josh makes the decision to run away and start over as a tattoo artist in Seattle. He cuts ties with everyone, including his family, and falls off their radar completely. Years pass them all by, and Josh feels no closer to peace than when he first landed alone in the city. Just as he is forcing himself to move on, a ghost from his past finds him. He is convinced to go back and face everything and everyone he abandoned.
