Someone like her
It's said that love isn't just a feeling, it's much more than that. The couple in love are actually having something more than love in between them. Just the difference is, some realise that earlier, some later and some never.
What Sanyukta Aggarwal felt at that time, when her parting was filled up by her well known almost on the verge of getting married friend, the mocking of relatives and world weren't in the picture till then, nor did it came after that. He was found on the right place, on the right time. For her. For his one of the oldest friend, ditching his fiance; who was just standing numbly looking at his actions, right in front of her flowing eyes. Sarika was cheated openly by her own fiance, publicly. She wasn't able to even trace a single hint of regretting emotion on his face. He was bold, firm and rigid on his place; holding hand of Sanyukta into his hand, quite with an authority, glaring the crowd of more than two hundred people present over there, looking at the married couple in gasp of being pulled off guard like never before.
His glare was confident and intimidating at the same time. Sanyukta couldn't help but sob silently, holding onto his palm tightly while feeling the immense pain of regret running through her body, trying to burst every cell of her skin. She wasn't able to stand after few seconds, thus the unconsciousness overpowered her senses, making the marriage hall burst into another set of gossip.
"She might be pregnant. That's why the groom ran away." The gathered troop of women, discussed over yet another reason; only to widen their orbs in horror the next second, when the shriek shout,"Sanyukta!" Echoed into that marriage hall.
