Haven 'Hiccup' Hayden Haddock.
Just your typical nerd.
Nothing more, I promise...
... Or do I?
Hiccup was now lying shirtless on some sort of hospital bed, his waist wrapped up with a white bandage while the doctor wiped out the blood around the part that got stabbed.
While watching, Astrid stood at the opposite side and crossed her arms.
The doctor was on Hiccup's right side, the part where Hiccup got stabbed, while Astrid is on Hiccup's left side.
"Wow, miss Hofferson. You're lucky to have a friend like him." The doctor told her.
"We're not friends"
Astrid and Hiccup said at the same time.
Astrid rose a brow.
"I'm just her art tutor" Hiccup sarcastically said.
The doctor just laughed. "Well, then. I'm just gonna go and prepare the shots while you guys try to decide on what you are" the doctor went to the other side of the room and prepared his needles and the shots.
Hiccup tensed while Astrid looked at him, confused.
"I just... Don't understand why I still need to get a shot..." He said as he continued staring at the needle nervously.
Astrid laughed. "Is Haven Haddock, the guy who just beat Astrid Hofferson in basketball for the first time, actually scared of a tiny needle?" She tried to hold back her laughter.
"It's not that tiny!" Hiccup defended.
"Just... Think of something else. You know... To make you distracted of the pain." Said Astrid.
"Like what?!" Hiccup tried not to panic.
The doctor already started walking near and held the needle. He brought the needle nearer and Hiccup widened his eyes as he stared at it, his heart beating so fast.
Astrid smirked and before the needle touched Hiccup's skin, Astrid turned his head with her hand so that he could face her, and she kissed him.
Hiccup kissed back, then pulled away, only to realize that the shot was already done, and he didn't even notice it.
"And that... Was for saving my life."
