"She kissed me. Then, I kissed her. I KISSED Lilly Miller. I kissed a girl. I'm not sure whether or not that scares me. I think it should, but it really just makes me happy. For once, I didn't care that I was deaf. I didn't care about anything except her. With her lips against mine, all my troubles seemed to fade away. I kissed Lilly, and I can't wait to do it again."

Lilly becomes the mentor of a deaf girl, Emily, and Lilly can't help but fall in love with her.

I only came out to a few friends a few months or so ago. One of them outted me and made rumours up about me. Which wasn't the best.
Right? Its like, flirting is pretty much off the table because even if you actually had the capability to do it, straight girls think your creepy and gay girls think your straight and just joking around.

I haven’t come out to most of my family mostly because they’re probably ALL homophobic my uncle said at my sister’s graduation party “Thank god none of us are gay.” And I was just sitting over there thinking to myself “Well surprise bitch.”
I promise you, your not missing out. The first kiss is always the worst- like a goat is trying to eat your face. Its gross.
