In Case of Rain
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀After transferring from Parsons School of Design in New York due to a family crisis, Phoebe Culpepper finds herself back in the state of Washington. She spent her entire life dreaming of becoming a fashion designer in New York, but with her grandmother being diagnosed with cancer and needing round the clock care, Phoebe pushes those goals aside to help her family.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀She's back in town and attending university, but Washington isn't quite like The Big Apple. She's struggling to fall back into the calming and charming lifestyle of being home, but when she lands the attention of her university's basketball star, Phoebe realizes that she can't keep calm and that Brixton Davis might just be more charming than her hometown.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀Brixton Davis has life all figured out. He's going to go pro like his absentee father, acquire a lot of money and women, and he's going to achieve all of his dreams before he graduates from college. He's lived his entire life in Seattle, and he wants out as soon as possible. While he loves the charm the city holds, he knows that there's more out there for him to see, and he knows that playing ball is the only way he can see them.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀Having been raised by a single mother, money was hard. His mom barely had enough money to send him to college, and he wants to make good on all the promises he's told her over the years. Brixton also wants the chance to show his father what he missed out on, and he wants an opportunity to rub his success in the face of the man who left him when he was only a week old. But the idea of revenge runs its course, and when Brixton meets Phoebe Culpepper, his entire outlook on life changes.
