We are all fools in love...
Charlotte Locke does not take too kindly to people laughing at her. She is beautiful, popular, and perfect, and if anyone makes fun of her, Charlotte makes sure to get even. She will be no man's fool.
And then she meets Tommy Strong, the resident stoner, loner, and loser. He has maybe two friends, tops, and he won't stop talking about this new video game that came out last month. Charlotte can pretend like she isn't completely in love with Tommy, though-just like she can pretend that she cares about her appearance and doesn't have an alcoholic father or a runaway mother.
But a girl can only pretend so much, and when Tommy witnesses one of Charlotte's more unflattering moments, she must decide what she's willing to risk for the image she's spent so long creating for herself and the people she loves.
Because Charlotte will do anything to make sure she is nobody's fool.
