His friend heaved a sigh at the other end of the line; he'd heard this before, and nothing hurt him more than hearing his best friend speak those words of surrender. "Please, Tyler. Please don't say that."
Tyler and Josh had been best friends since the age of four, and they'd been together through every up and every down. Some were harder than others, but they stuck together, just as they always did.
