"Look, every guy has, or has had a thing for Mona. She is the neighbor-girl type. She is pretty, funny, relaxed, kind and she has brains. I'm not sure what keeps her walls up, but the girl doesn't date or do relationships. She cares a lot of her friends but she closes up totally when something even close to commitment comes too close."
Harry and Mona slide into a weird relationship that isn't really a relationship. Harry wants it to be, but Mona isn't good with those. She fears abandonment and rejection which makes her extra careful and reserved. But still, unlike all the other guys in the past, Harry is still able to swoop himself in Mona's life and into her heart.
