English Translyrics of Vocaloid Songs by Jul...
So, if you know me, you've heard of Vocaloid, a voice synthesizer program specifically designed for singing. Look it up for more information; I can't describe it. xD As Japanese has a very simple phonetic system, many Vocaloid songs are in Japanese, a language much easier to work with than one as phonetically complex and confusing as English. (Although English is the second-most prominent language for Vocaloids. Vocaloids come in all kinds of languages, though-Spanish, Korean, Chinese-and you can basically imitate any language with them.)
So, I've taken Japanese Vocaloid songs and decided to give them singable English lyrics! I'll try to make them as accurate and as close to the original song as possible, (my translyric-making style is as accurate as I can get in syllables, phrasing, and translation, which can be limiting) but please note that this is not a word-for-word perfect translation, as I'm working with the English syllables to fit with the Japanese syllables so that people can sing a song without forcing themselves to learn the romaji. Does that make sense? xD A lot of people on YouTube write lyrics and post covers in English, which is basically what I'll be doing, except I'm not posting a video of me singing it. Just the lyrics, which anyone is free to use as long as they credit me~
Some of the songs I do might be very underrated and not known widely. Maybe you could learn a new song you like or something! And since I tend to gravitate towards liking things that are a little bit macabre, I'll post a warning at the beginning of a song if it's creepy. I don't want to rate the whole book mature.
I do take requests, unless I don't know or really dislike a song. I have the right to decline requests if I want to. ;-; And I won't take requests for really pervertedly-themed songs, either. But if I like a song/the person requesting it enough, I'll go ahead! xD Just be patient and know that I can't write translyrics immediately; it will take some time.
Here we go :D
