Pretty Brown Eyes (ON HOLD)
Before I register her movement, Bae finally grabs a fistful of the girl's formulae, ripping them to shreds, allowing them to fall to the floor, like snowflakes in the ridged autumn breeze. I gasp but slap my hands over my mouth, my sound masked by the Latina's sharp intake, my eyes similar to her eyes in terms of size.
Except hers are glazing over in tears.
She stares at her ripped sheets in disbelief.
'About time! Now, be a goody-two-shoes nerd and hand over the salad.'
Bae gives a slight nod of her head, gesturing to the semi concealed container of salad dumped in her open bag.
Anger courses through me, briefly reprieved by the snarls of my alternate concious.
A lesson to be learnt. Never, never EVER prevent the Flick Chicks from getting what they want.
Josephine Rae Gieffe, like every other teen girl, cruises through high school and attempts to learn how to balance the different aspects of her life. She was accepted into Esperance High's reigning girl group, The Flick Chicks, and is intent on keeping it that way.
But not for the reasons you think.
When a group of guys with an unusual motive move to her high school, Josephine is torn between her true self and the alternate life she built up over the years.
