She looked to me with fiery eyes, not the blue ones I thought I knew. Sweat was dripping out of every pour yet she still looked stunning. "You need to go." She spat. I rolled my shoulders back and took a deep breath. I took the step between us.
"No," I mouthed as I cupped her flushed cheeks in my hands. "I know what you are," I continued. Something filled me. Was it shock? Hatred? Betrayal? A mix of them all?
I didn't know what to do, I didn't know what to say. So I brought my face even closer to her's. Our breaths mixed, her's was minty and mine was who knows what. And I did something I have wanted to do for a long time.
I kissed her.
Everything she wore was black, she never showed emotion, and she was mysterious and avoided people. And some how someday I was going to befriend her. Do I know how or why? Nope. Not a clue. But you have your goals, I have mine.
