❝BUT I'M LETTING GO, I'M GIVING UP THE GHOST. BUT DON'T GET ME WRONG, I'LL ALWAYS LOVE YOU THAT'S WHY I WROTE YOU THIS VERY LAST SONG, I GUESS THIS WHERE WE SAY GOODBYE. I KNOW I'LL BE ALRIGHT, SOMEDAY I'LL BE FINE, BUT JUST NOT TONIGHT.❞
There was a time in her life where Lindy Kim actually remembers what it felt like to be normal; and for awhile life was okay. But the storm passed and the world grew dark. And for a long time Lindy couldn't see the shadows that followed her, she was alone whether she liked it or not. Lindy was far from a terrible person, but her differences made her a danger to the world she loved and the people she adored.
Her life fell apart all because of one night and everything she thought she knew was changed and replaced with a new identity. She is someone who didn't deserve the title of a hero, she was nothing more than a science experiment gone wrong and that will never change. Lindy wasn't ready to face the world and show them the monster she is, not when she herself cannot accept it.
But Steve gave her a chance to show the world that she is far from a monster. She never expected to gain something out of this little adventure of hers, especially in the form of a person who was willing to accept her and the monster she is. Peter Parker doesn't know what he's getting into, but one thing's for sure, there was a thrill he got when it came to Lindy Kim.
But Peter didn't know the real her, and Lindy wasn't sure if she was ready to show the one person she trusts who she really is.
