Great story, this obsession with communication via technology is really stealing our precious moments with our precious people face to face. 
                              So sad, and yet, the whole world is changing on purpose, stealing those moments, making of us just a bunch of posts, likes and updates...

A really thought provoking piece, and definitely true of the modern world. Reminds me a little of a short story I read once where a guy is arrested for simply walking, as the police can't understand why he isn't at home 'tapped in' like everyone else. Neat piece of work, Gav

Really enjoyed this. Like @DanielleThe, I could also relate. My guess to the rhetorical question is that we are afraid of loneliness, of the associated negative self-talk once we are left with our own thoughts. Oftentimes we under-appreciate the restorative powers of solitude...

Love this! I can relate to that conflict of connecting online and off-line. I like the line where you rhetorically ask "what is he escaping from". Its true. Why do we dive into this alternate digital world at any time - and is this good or bad. Look forward to more!
