Reign: Akirya's Story (EDITING)
"Why are you trying to help me and be there for me when I have done nothing for you?" I questioned.
"Its not really about receiving anymore. Some people see a hurt soul and want to help them out." Troy turned his attention to me.
"When I look at you I just don't see a pretty face, I see a hurt soul that needs to be fixed." He took my hand in his and rubbed it.
The thought of him seeing me with a hurt soul, made me cry even harder. How can someone see only the visual side of a person, but yet know the truth about them on the inside? It doesn't make sense... Especially with a guy like Troy.
"I see a lot of myself in you..." Troy wiped away my tears and moved closer to me.
"I see a fighter whose gone through so much, I see an ambitious woman waiting to let the world know of her amazing presence. I see the amazing Akyria Jones." He gave me a sincere look and pulled me into his arms.
"I'm sorry." Was all I could say as I let my tears fall from my eyes carelessly and onto his shirt. Troy laughed lightly and I felt his chest move under me with every chuckle.
"You good shordy. Everybody gotta cry every once in a while." Troy stroked my hair, that probably was a hot ass mess, and looked out the window.
