Amongst Thieves | 1
"NOT ALL SAVIORS BRING SALVATION."
In Evaria, the sky has been dark and cold for as long as anyone can remember, shifting and weighing, frostbitten with starlight. The land is crippled, doomed to an infinite night and an eternal winter, and fire is beginning to die out, snuffed by the hands of the gods -- fast.
But hope is not lost.
On the streets of Evaria there is a thief, bloodying her hands with secrets. There is an arsonist, running from his past and towards revenge. There is a slave, born to command, not obey, and a spy who lives in the shadows. There is an assassin who kills for love, and a broken king who wears a broken crown.
They will learn to defy the gods, to steal fire, blacken their hands with gore and smoke and ash. It has been a long time since heroes have walked the lands, but they are not heroes.
They are thieves.
And together, this could mean the beginning.
Or perhaps, this means the end.
