Lyric Anderson is a 16-year-old African American. She was very pretty and came from a family of 6, great mother and father and had everything she ever dreamed of. Her life took a terrible toil when her brother chose the street life and he mother got on drugs bad. Her daddy became sick with cancer so when they lose her brother to the streets, it stresses her dad to become even more distant and Lyric's life hit rock bottom. When terrible things in Lyric's life happen, it pushes her dad to get a new wife, gets her pregnant and pushes the family to move from Chicago to ATL. In the middle of Lyric trying to help her mother and recover from the loss of her brother. Lyric, her three sisters and other big brother find out that no matter where you go, life always follows. She meets a boy in ATL, whom, she falls in love with, when her brother gets involved with him and she soon find out that he's a street master also. But by this time it's too late, Lyric has a kid by K'Juan and has to chose which is the better life for her kid. When K'Juan realizes that Lyric is who he truly wants, he has to make a hard decision by either getting a real job or by being LOYAL to his family. Blast from his past come to haunt him, when it's plan is to break Lyric and K'Juan up forever. When things don't go as planned it leaves, him heart broken but Lyric even more hurt when she and their children are put in jeopardy. At this point Lyric isn't sure if this is the best idea of her life. Going through the motions, Lyric had to figure out life as it passed. This is Lyric's story.
