Alexandra Maria Mundo grew up being told, by her mother, that her father was dead but one day her mother calls him to get things in order as her last stand. Her father is Dean Mundo, an FBI agents and the biological father that she never had growing up.
The only problem is that over the years, she has found new father figures in her life who treat her like a daughter. One of them is a friend of Dean's from high school and college, Mark Masters, a doctor and the father of one of Alexandra's best friends. The other is her gymnastics coach who has taken care of her when she has been sick but has no one who cares enough to take care of her besides him and Mark. Both of the men, her coach and Mark, have taken her in multiple times to take care of her when she's sick, injured, or scared.
There's so much she doesn't know about her new family, like the fact that she has three older brothers and that they all go to a private school that isn't the same school that she goes to.
