🔱 BROKEN 🔱 A feeling of hopelessness, loneliness and despair. A feeling that leaves a person empty, blank and stone cold because of it. Usually accompanied by a lack of self worth. Cause: Trauma, depression or loss of a loved one. Sometimes all of them. Can also be a side effect of bottled up feelings, waiting to burst at any moment. Treatment: The greatest cure for of al. A cure so hard-so rare, yet beautiful-to find, let alone acquire. Once it is in your grasp however, nothing can come between it and the person who craves it. Love. 🔱🔱🔱 Ashley Crowther has had it all. She's been all. She knows nothing but joy, laughter and how to have a good time. Get under her skin however, and she might just bite. You might just see a side of her that she's so expertly great at keeping at bay. But how long? How long will it take for her true self to finally burst free? 🔱🔱🔱 Eros Huxley is broken. To a point where he cant be put back together, to a point where he couldn't care less about anything. He's been the boy your parents warned you to never play with, the boy who never smiles, the boy covered in bruises and the boy who always looks down. The black sheep of not just his family, but of a whole town. All these before he was even 12 years old. What about when he gets older? 🔱🔱🔱 With every light, there is a darkness, waiting for its moment to come. With every right, there is a wrong. With every joy, there is a sorrow. Nothing can truly be itself, without having an opposite side to it. One cannot exist without the other. With sadness always watching from the corner, growing and growing, bigger and stronger, for its moment to arrive; to surface. No one is ever truly free from it. ©

"I wouldn't mind watching you. Maybe we could tan together this summer." He suggested. "Without having tan lines." I could feel the smirk playing on his lips. I lightly slapped his chest. "Don't ruin my mood with your cockiness." "I think I made it a lot better." "Well, keep going and you'll have to deal with your boner yourself." I teased. "Why does it always come back to my boner?" He asked with a smile playing on his lips. "Because it's just so huge." I said absentmindedly. "Is it now?" He raised a brow at me. I stripped myself away from him and pouted as I folded my arms across my chest. "That's not what I was supposed to say." "Hmm," He nodded. "What were you supposed to say then?" "That it's just as annoying as you." I laughed. SUMMARY: After the death of her father, Blake moves in with her estranged mother and twin sister. Coping with her father's death was one thing and being involved in dirty work is another. Add a bad boy to fall for on her plate and things can't be more messed up. She tries to start a new life but ghosts from her past just aren't ready to leave her. Question is, can she make it through and have a happy ending or not? Give it a few chapters, nobody gets the hang of writing their first book immediately. It gets better story wise and writing wise, I promise. HIGHEST RANKING #1
