"The American Dream", a promise of wealth. A promise that anyone who puts in the hard work-no matter what their hand is in life-they can get something out of the system. Whatever you put in, is what you can get back.
For Luna Flores, this dream has been crushed after only three years in the United States. After hopping the border into California from Mexico, Luna and her family have been working their hands to the bone for a shot at a better life, even sending money back to Mexico to help Luna's grandmother with her own financial troubles.
When Luna loses yet another job, she is resentful to the fact that she must go job hunting once again. Sticking to the immigrant stereotype of nanny and/or maid, Luna seeks out a job in a rich neighborhood in search of the big bucks.
What she doesn't know is that she will get more than she bargained for when her new boss is the one and only Tommy Lee, drummer and party animal of the infamous band Mötley Crüe.
Between Tommy's wild parties, cheating wife, and a black-mailing head of security, Luna definitely has her job cut out for her!
Mexico is looking better and better.
