The SONG of SPRING
F.A 1486 Ithilien
Memories were lost
Time has passed
but a heart never forgets.
Raen Vanyawen, a Watcher of Draugan devised a preposterous plan - slay Legolas Greenleaf the Elflord of Ithilien. Believing the Elves were trying to steal the Draugan Forest from the Woses, Raen was determined to slay Legolas to drive the Elves back to South Ithilien.
Embark a journey full of love and second chances, magic and ancient lore and see the beauty of the South as merrier days embrace Middle Earth once again.
Old Aghan took something off his neck and laced it round Raen's. Aghan is the oldest of the Woses, nine years older than their chief, Ghan-buri-Ghan, and it was him who took care of Raen when she fell very sick. He was the one who gave her a second name, Vanyawen, for she was a beauty in face and heart. 'Take this as a gift, Rúan, so you will always find your way home.'
Raen fingered the white gem, it was round and smooth wrought in silver and dark string. 'Your stone of clairvoyance - you can't possibly give me this. This is your --- '
'That is just a stone. Me don't get lost in my own home.' Old Aghan laughed as he turned his back on her, then the old man stomped back to his working table. 'Ho! Vanyawen, you have been a wanderer for many years. And Raen do not know herself, much more than I know her. Make haste if you should ere dawn wakes, Sun is nigh. Raen has long road ahead.' He looked sideways to give her a smile. 'And forget not --- please to Ruan if your path turns strange. Ruan does know how to read heart's desire, Ruan leads you where you wish go or found.'
