Niniel By Niniel Completed

The king is dying. The heir apparent is missing. Across the kingdom, princes, nobles and rebels all wait for the inevitable civil war. In the midst of this, two very different girls must hold their own as their worlds come crashing down...
One is a half-blood, dragged out of obscurity to protect the kingdom of a people who despise her.
The other is a highborn girl, used to luxury, and now a prisoner in enemy territory.
Surrounded by people, yet alone, will they be able to overcome their own prejudices in time to save themselves and those they hold dear?

This is really good. If I found this in a book store I would surely buy it. It has enough detail to paint a picture in your mind, but not too much that it bores you to death. I love this story!

An intriguing start! I love the imagery and the way you build the atmosphere. What is Dun upto? And what kind of impact will the captured girl have on the events to follow? Questions, questions. I can't wait to read more!

You have a great writing style. I want to know more about the girl. This seems to be a very intersting story. I hope to find time to read more soon :)

Oh wow, this opener was so tense - it had me on the edge of my seat! I can't wait to read more. :)
(Just a heads up -- you used "nervously" twice in three paragraphs at the end of the first section -- might want to edit one out. :) )

                              loved it.
                              superb starting.
generally, most ppl start off with only the description in the first few chaps but u've begun with what promises to be a thrilling adventure and read. very intriguing.
                              keep writing.
