They were finally getting somewhere in this horrible, apocalyptic world; they were trading with Hilltop, have a well fortified town, and even a decent amount of people. That is, until the Saviors show up, and they slowly pull Rick and his group of survivors into a whirlwind of events in which they may not get out alive. When the Saviors' leader finds them on a backroad, he assures them in a vey sadistic manner that one would not survive, and proceeds to play a game of 'Eeny, meeny, miny, moe' to select who bites it. That's where he and Salem meet, and their lives become intertwined, much to Salem's distaste. But she soon learns there's another side to this monster. A deeper, tragic side that she can't help but feel sympathy towards. Is Negan just playing the game, or will Salem show him what he's been missing in a world where the dead are walking?
