A million years ahead of us, there is no war, conflict, poverty, or violence. There are no countries, no borders. Technology and humanity work hand in hand as one; where information is always available and in reach, and it doesn't take any effort, not even the push of a button. In the New World, every person has a programming chip attatched to their brain, where information comes automatically. In the New World, everyone is born blind and def, and knows nothing about themselves. Their personalities are a blank slate waiting to be written on.
The New World is perfection, and a dream come true.
Like all the other people in the New World, Laila was born blind and deaf, and had no idea about herself. She and the other Youths grew up in small separate isolated rooms with one toilet, one bed, and no windows-with no human contact what-so-ever. Her job was to learn about the rules, society, the rights, the wrongs, and customs of the New World to prepare for when she and all the other Youths would be set free. She ate, gained information, and slept, in the same routine of every day, of every week, of every year in her life, until Recognition Day. At age 16, the Youths gain their sight, their personalities, their likes, their dislikes, their name, and so much more. Based on their assigned personalities, they are given a job, their friends, their favorite things, etc. On that day, Laila gets a life, the best life she could ever imagine.
But maybe she's not living the life she expected. And maybe, the New World isn't as perfect as she's been taught.

I don't know if you're looking for feedback, but in the last sentence of this paragraph, the comma is unnecessary. Great story! I'm gonna keep on reading now

A lot of the sentences start with "He" and it gets a little repetitive, which can be boring. I would try to mix it up a little.
                              Great start!
