Leigh has lived in the same remote, desert town her entire life and has hated every second of it. She would give anything to get away, to be free, but every time she tries to skip town bad things tend to happen. Car wrecks. Fires. Freak storms. And unbelievably, even an outbreak of measles. With (court-ordered) therapy Leigh has been able to convince herself that the incidents were just coincidences, and unrelated to her. But she hasn't entirely ruled out the suspicion that the townspeople are plotting against her. She soon finds her paranoia was well founded when three strangers show up in town trying to kill her. Their involvement is all the incentive Leigh needs to start searching for answers and it doesn't take long for her to figure out the truth. But will it be more than she can handle?
