My Hands Hold My Story
It's 1874 in America. After the death of her beloved aunt Ruth, sixteen year old Ivy Steele must travel from Boston to the Montana territory to be reunited with her father, having been separated from him for ten years. There are challenges enough for any young lady to make a journey of this nature, but for Ivy, it is especially difficult for one important reason:
Ivy is deaf.
Of course, reaching Montana won't be the end of Ivy's troubles. Not only must she find her own place among half-siblings she's never met, she must reconnect with her father and older brother and learn how to contribute on a fledgling ranch. Throw in a hard working, handsome cowboy, and Ivy's world is never going to be the same.
