Valeriana Romarri is a seductive, manipulative woman. A vampire of an original family from the 1500s, over time she has been known as an emotionless beast, never known how to truly feel, no humanity. She kills for pain and suffering and enjoys the game of cat and mouse, predator and prey. She's on a quest of revenge, with the proper sources she hopes she can find out who murdered her family. While all this going on she's caught in a love triangle, between a human, beings she sees as nothing but pawns for her benefit and entertainment, and another creature of the night. Will she ever obtain humanity or continue being a heartless, lifeless monster? Will she ever learn how to truly feel, love and do selfless actions for another?

This is an amazing beginning. I love the way you describe her feelings towards the man, and the personality that you created really works with the vampire theme.

Great start!

If I may make one suggestion -- perhaps you could provide a little more description about the inside of the club. What kind of music? How many bodies? Light, dark, crowded, sweaty, etc.

Otherwise a very enjoyable read. You have my vote!
