I shove the knife into his chest, pulling back in horror as those golden eyes meet my own.
I watch as he grabs ahold of the handle of the knife wedged between his ribs. He pulls it out, showing no sign of pain as he throws the bloody knife upon the ground.
"You're not part of the Mafia," I whisper in shock as he tilts his head to the side and watches me.
"No, sweetheart," he informs, backing me against the wall. "I'm worse than the mafia."
When Charlie Holms is given a new name of a supposed cheating boyfriend from a random girl on campus, she takes it like any job. With her camera loaded up, her college bank account next to nothing, and her glasses pushed up the bridge of her nose, never in a million years did she plan to capture the exact moment her target happened to snap someone's neck.
