Blood, Chopin, and broken bones weren't supposed to be together.
Dan. A virtuoso, highschool band and choir teacher, and an insanely good piano player. Not to mention his insanely insane boyfriend, Matt, who beats Dan on a daily basis.
Phil. A media arts teacher at the same school with a beautiful dog, beautiful house, and a beautiful face. Fortunately, Phil doesn't have an abusive boyfriend as he spends his days alone, cooped up inside his house.
Dan spends his mornings in his classroom, hours before anyone should be there and playing pieces in the dark. One morning, Phil comes into his class and becomes acquainted with Dan. They bond over Dan's music.
About a week after their first meeting, Phil discovers a large bruise on Dan's wrist. Tears and a serious confession follow. It seems that every conversation ends in broken promises and tears.
But tears are a lot better than bruises.
