Trust Me (Prince of Stride)
What is trust? It's a five letter word that starts and ends with a hard 'T'. Its definition; the firm belief in the reliability, truth, ability, or strength of someone or something.
How does one come to trust others? A hard question as it is something that Takahiro Vernon asks himself every day. He doesn't know what it's like to trust others; to have complete and utter faith in them. It was such an outlandish thought to him. It was also quite the contradictory thought too, considering the fact that the sport that he loves so dearly relies on nothing but trust and communication between others.
Now what is Stride? A six letter word that is otherwise known as a sport that combines parkour, free-running, relay and sprinting all into one. It is a sport which relies heavily on team communication and what is known as this so-called 'trust'.
How does one compete in Stride without relying on trust as the main driving force? Only a fool would compete without it. Well, that's what Vernon was told anyways. If he was to be called a fool for not trusting others, then so be it. There wasn't a way for him to change that fact, or was there?
As Vernon joins the Honan Stride Club, he soon comes to realize that trusting others isn't as hard of a task as he had originally thought. Not only that, but while Vernon is attending Honan, he may just find the one person whom he could put complete and utter unwavering faith in and perhaps find a little bit of romance on the side to go along with it.
