"In the beginning, there was the cold and the night..."
Two thousand years ago, the Prophecy of Fire and Light foretold the coming of the Queen Empress who would lead the Empire through a time of peace and tranquility. Instead, a forbidden love for the Empress raged a war that ravaged the land, and the death toll rose until the final, bloody battle.
Centuries later, Alexandra, an average twenty-something from Boston, finds herself stuck in this unfamiliar realm of mystery and magic, where betrayal and revenge will be as crucial to her survival as love and honor. As the predestined Queen Empress, only Alex can determine the fate of the Empire, and her decisions alone could tear her new home, and her heart, apart at the seams.

Apologies in advance for the possibly tipsy nature of any comments that may crop up from here on out.

Will look forward to reading your work. Your plot sounds promising- I totally dig stories about ancient magic that make their way into the present-day. Also, using Boston as a setting is a bonus to me.
This book seems AWESOME and I can't wait to read this series! If I see any small mistakes I'll be happy to tag you where they are. :D

It sounds very interesting (I'm sorry for my English but I'm not..)
The story line and cover caught my eye and I like what I see so far!
Thank you for writing this! I will simply enjoy this

I love when a writer proudly proclaims a love for their story; gets me hyped up for the read to know their heart's fully in it when they're willing to say, "Hey, I wrote this thing and I really dig it." Or maybe I'm simply a weirdo. The two aren't mutually exclusive, I suppose...
