This place is where they'll pay you a million dollars for a kiss and less than a cent for your soul.
"Wait, I have to what?!" I'm sure enough that my facial expression already explains how disgusted and not approving I am to this stupid and reckless idea. Siddharth, on the other hand, seems perfectly fine with this plan.
"So, what do you both say? It is to save the ratings, anyway"
"I'm okay with that." He shrugs. Damn it, this is why I don't like him in the first place! He's such a hypocrite! Lying is almost like a second nature to him.
"I totally don't agree with this." I quickly stated, raising both my tone and volume. "I am so not faking any relationship. Especially with HIM!" He knits his brows, as usual, offended.
"Well, the last thing I wanna do in this life is to date someone like YOU anyway." He fires back. "Besides, if I can act like I'm in love with you on camera, why can't I do that again?"
"But this time," Mr Bennet quickly adds, "in front of reality TV shows, infotainment, and paps."
Crossing my arms, I shake my head still not changing my decision.
"I promise you, it's just for a few months." He says.
"You don't want this show to end too quick, wouldn't you?"
Both of them just cornered me with their undeniably rational statements. Gosh, I don't want to lie to anyone but I also don't want them to consider me as unprofessional. Lying to the public is the same with hypocritical behavior to me, and I hate hypocrites, which is the reason why I hate Siddharth!
Closing my eyes, I took a deep breath and in a matter of seconds, I've finally fixed my decision.
"Okay..." I sigh, "I'll do it."
Both of their faces brightens up, but Mr Bennet surely is the most enthusiast.
"It's settled, then." He claps his hands. "From tomorrow until the last episode of this show, I declare you both as boyfriend" his eyes shifts from Siddharth to me, "and girlfriend."
Oh Lord, what did I just do?
Tunisha is going to murder me.
