Myrtle's aunt is dead - murdered - and she has inherited the 'Witch's Retreat', a B&B full of outrageous characters and hiding a mystery under its eaves. Everybody is a suspect: Evan, the blue-eyed Police Constable; Chris, the proverbial dark stranger - even Tiddles, the flatulent cat.

As Myrtle, the amateur sleuth, bumbles along in search of answers, she digs deeper and deeper among the tangled roots of her family's history. Will she find the secret before she hits the six-foot marker?

'In My Attic' is a new take on the cozy mystery. Think trainee Miss Marple channelling the 21st century - with a paranormal twist.
'In My Attic' is guaranteed gore-free and full of witty dialogue and humour instead.

  See what the readers say:

"This chapter definitely served to hook me because I actually HAD to read on a bit. I think the main reason for this was the unique ideas behind your book."

"There is plenty of dry witty humour."

  "Great writing!"

If there's humour and romance, I'm in. As for the mystery/thriller part , I should be okay too. Just spook me nicely, please ;-)
                              Good luck with this project!!

Yay, that sounds exactly like my kind of story, as I love and usually read only books set in Great Britain - except your trilogy of course, which brought me into a genre I did not know before but now appreciate very much, thanks to you.
Okay, I have been meaning to start this book for a long time! The cover used to be a spiral staircase, right? I like the new cover with the matching green leaves and hat. ^_^
I like the cover - I like the brightness which is a nice contrast to many books on WP, and I think it must reflect the light - hearted description/tone of the book.

I'm sorry to say this, but I'm not a fan of the cover. It doesn't feel like a mystery cover. It's too bright. It makes me think of something new-age and spiritual.
