Mary Fahey By MaryFahey Completed

Donna Waldron thinks its love at first sight but is badly let down. Dr Ryan Kennedy is only amusing himself during boring workplace training. Heartbroken, she doesn't notice her pregnancy until seven months and believes her lack of prenatal care caused her son's cleft lip and palate.

While waiting for a plane, Ryan sees a newspaper photo of the first New Year's Day baby, who has the rare cleft lip and palate he survived. Medical secretary Donna didn't contact him so his resemblance to her child must be co-incidental. With this self centred reasoning, he travels abroad.

Nine months later, Ryan reappears, accepts Liam as his child and invites them to move into his house until after Liam's essential surgery. However, his detached behaviour suggests he is hiding secrets so Donna can't afford to trust him or see a future together again.

This is a Wattpad featured story in Chicklit.

This is from Donna's POV and she is riddled with guilt, for what we know she didn't cause. Even from the 'New Year's. Baby' photoshoot it is obvious that she adores her son. However, her confidence in herself is low due to a lot of factors.
