"Jay, I know I'm going to be a loner for the rest of my life. Please stop denying tha-" I was cut off by Jason.
"Can you stop freaking saying that? I know for a fact that there will be a man that will love you as much as I do. I just don't love you enough to marry you." He dropped his head in shame.
I didn't think twice. I grabbed my bag, and scurried out the door, as fast as my long legs could carry me. I had to get away from everyone, everything.
"Des, wait!" He yelled after me.
I didn't look back. I kept running and running, until I reached the wooden bench, in the children's park. As I sat down, it came to me. My whole world had shattered around me.
