Emma is a nineteen year-old sophomore in college, studying to be a veterinarian. She doesn’t want to do that for the rest of her life: she wants to be an actress on Broadway.
Harry doesn’t want to be an actor. In fact, he’s not good at acting at all. He takes acting classes twice a week because it’s fun. He likes writing songs and playing them for fifteen people at a little place every Friday after eight pm.
He doesn’t like conformity, and he doesn’t like Emma. He thinks Emma is the epitome of an annoying conformist.
He hates it, but he doesn’t hate her. He can’t. Not when she hands people cookies after they’ve been mean to her.
She dreams big, he settles for small, and they don’t understand each other.
Or rather, they don’t understand each other before they bother getting to know each other. But, you know, for purely professional reasons. Absolutely.
This story is more adapted to mature audiences as contains swearing, graphic sexual content and aggressive behavior.
