Crumpled Papers, Lurking Hearts
Seventeen-year-old Bryan Davis had this hobby of staying in their classroom 'til the last ring of the school bell. The reason? Just those crumpled papers left above a certain girl's desk. It was tenth grade when he started reading what's written inside. And later did he realize, with the mountain of boxes of crumpled papers in his home, his affection towards the girl had grown along.
Her words had become his voice and vision.
Her poetry had become his daily dose of inspiration.
Days passed by in a blur and Bryan noticed something had changed. The girl who once believed in the magic of life began writing about sadness and loneliness and misery. He began feeling the pain that she has poured out in her poem. He knew he needed to stop, but she became a mystery that he wanted to unwrap. And so he continued reading those papers, albeit being afraid of what he might later find out.
