Mayslee Sirmans loved super heroes. Everyone knew it. She had a (not so secret) love for them. The black and white complex of the stories always seemed to test those limits. That's what got her tingling inside. When the hero swooped in at the last possible second and saved the day. Perfect.
She always imagined a hero's life was completely perfect, apart from the bad guys. But one tragedy makes her rethink everything she thought she knew about superheroes. Because becoming one would be the hardest thing she ever had to do.
