She

She's beautiful they call out to each other as you walk out of the changing room. She fits that so well they say as you turn around in your dress that makes your skin burn. She, the word itself makes your ears heat up because that is the wrong pronoun. You were not born a she on the inside its just your genitalia didn't know where to go so they hid. The estrogen is the only thing keeping you a she. You haven't started treatment yet cause you're too scared to come out. The name on your birth certificate makes you wanna scream help because you feel trapped in this identity. This is not the body you belong in. It isn't your fault that when the sperm met the egg the chromosomes couldn't figure out what gender to make you so they did both. Your personality male while your body was female. You've been told growing up that your body didn't matter and it was how your personality was that did. If that was the case then why do they tell you to dress like a princess when all you wanted to be...
