The year is 1715, and the place be the Caribbean Isles. These warm waters are perfect for expanding trade routes, and making plentiful profit... But where there is riches... There are also thieves. And these thieves go by many names... Marauders, Buccaneers, Sea Rovers, and above all else... Pirates.

Crispin Karpathia was born into a family of nobles, and after nineteen years of hounded by his family to be the perfect business man, he was ready for some freedom.
And what could be more liberating than a life at sea? Crispin joined the Queen's Navy, and got assigned to a schooner as the lookout... Things went fine, well and dandy until his ship gets attacked by pirates... And Crispin ends up getting captured by the notorious Captain Rye Victarion...

I see this hasn't been updated since October which makes me a bit wary to start reading it. Is this story still going on?
