The 'Ville | A Short Novel
Simplicity is defined as the quality or condition of being easy to understand or do. The life of sixteen year old Chrysanthemum Monroe was nothing of the sort. See the complexity of her life may and can be unbearable to others, but she lived it willingly. By the age of ten she was a high school graduate, by fourteen she was the mother of a miracle, but now at the tender age of sixteen she's a college sophomore with what seems like the weight of the world on her shoulders.
After the tragic death of her parents Chrysanthemum is left to fend for herself in the rough streets of Louisville Kentucky. She's juggling motherhood, college, and attempting to live the life of a typical sixteen year old with all of the madness facilitating itself around her. She's searching for one thing and one thing only, and that's clarity, she finds that in an up and coming songwriter/ singer by the name of Mercury Beckham he opens her eyes to a different world, a different vibe, and lastly a different feeling. He teaches her along the way that every trapped soul has a sacred key that will unlock all its goodness and purities.
