~Lucas pulled himself out of bed and walked into the bathroom. I heard the shower running as I sat on the bed, nervous and excited, thinking about what we would do today. Soon, the sounds of the shower stopped and Lucas stepped out, dressed in a t-shirt and jeans. I went up to him.

"So, what do you want to do today?" I asked.

Lucas completely ignored me and walks out of the bedroom, starting to head outside. I ran to catch up with him. As I grabbed his shoulder to pull him back, I asked him again. "Lucas! What do you want to do today?" And he ignored me. Again. I started to sense that something was wrong. "Lucas, stop ignoring me! What would you like to do today?" I asked for the third time.

He turned around exasperated. "I thought you would have understood by now and I wouldn't have to say it, but obviously not. My wolf is going to be so pissed but I have to say it."

He took a deep breath. "I, Lucas Blake Jackson, reject you as my mate." He turned around and left, leaving me on the ground, shattered.~

After a one night stand with her mate, Veronica Grace Edwards is rejected by him. But the worse is yet to come; one month later Veronica finds herself pregnant.

Five years later, Veronica and Lucas cross paths again.

What happens when a girl who is determined to forget about her past runs into a guy who is determined to never let her go?

A/N: Guys, this is my first story so forgive me if it's terrible. I ask that you not to hate on my writing and I hope you understand that you can stop reading at any point. However, if it's a grammar mistake, please tell me (ex// I used there instead of their) because when I read stories with grammar mistakes it irks me so much. Although I don't think most people will notice, I'm going to give you guys a heads up anyway: I fluctuate between present and past verb tense a lot. I am trying to fix that but please bear with me in the meantime. Thank you for choosing to read this book and I hope you enjoy it.

Don't hate me but if you arrange the names it spells out BLT. 😅 sorry I had to.
