"Ollie, listen to what I'm saying to you," I paused and grasped my small hands around his large motionless one at his side. "I would never leave you, you have to trust me."
His dark eyes stared into my glistening teary eyes with a small flicker of fire in the depth of the blackness. I couldn't help but stare, I couldn't look away.
"Did you know," He paused to stroke the side of my face with the back of his knuckles and wipe the wetness under my eye away, "You saved me?"
A look of confusion must have spread across my face because he grasped my head in between his hands and pressed his lips softly around my cheeks until he reached my lips. Then he spoke an air's breath away from me,
"You saved me from myself, Ivory."
