An old, oil lamp that Jace got for practically free wasn't actually supposed to have a Genie in it. It was supposed to be a paper weight or a book end for his giant collection of books. But alas this story isn't about a paper weight or book end. This story isn't about Jace's attempts to win the heart of the girl he has loved for years, or his search for the parents he was never old enough to know.
This story is about a friendship between a golden haired Genie, resigned to a life of servitude, and a chocolate eyed pickpocket, desperate for a story of his own. Together they are able to open the others eyes to worlds in which they have never seen.
