It starts with a bloody nose.
It also starts with three sprains, two concussions, and a whole lot of bruises.
Those aren't hers.
In a world where technology is on the rise, everything happens quickly. Transportation, communication, news broadcasts, arguments, knowledge accumulation ... destruction. In the same world, super powered people are also becoming more prominent; a super could be your neighbor, your coworker, that nurse at the ER, your sister ... anyone.
Though there are, of course, supremacists on both sides (cries of "no more supers!" are equally matched by "overthrow the norms!") for the most part, supers have become a part of everyday life. Though there is not a lack of prejudice in the world, there also isn't a lack of those who are determined to overcome it.
Everyone knew the day may come where a super decided to intervene with something like politics or war -- something that would threaten the civilized structure of the modern world. No one expected it would happen so soon ... no one expected how it would happen.
But someone knew that the best way to defeat a super was by bringing in a few of their own.
