Gods. Monsters. Fairytale creatures from myths and legends. And one kid, Max O'Connor, needs to deal with each of these threats. 3 renegade deities have gotten loose and are wreaking havoc across the world, and it's up to Max and his friends Jack, Piper, Kevin, and Alice to stop them. As demigods themselves, their powers will help them, but just raw strength won't be enough, because armies and hordes of monsters and creatures are after them as well, and one of the team members has a dark secret inside of them... They'll have to use their wits, their skills at making alliances, and the help of several all-powerful magical leaves to accomplish their goal...And it's gonna be one heck of a ride.

A short and interesting start though not much is given away. The narrator is almost emotionless as he vaguely recounts the Forever War. Not sure why that is. Do they not care? The descriptions about the destruction Earth suffered are really well done. I look forward to chapter 1.

@Darkphoenixelias You're welcome! :D and yes, Greek mythology really does get so much more publicity and is more well known. We need to spread the word about all the others lol ;) I'm especially interested in egyptian lore and mythology at the moment :D

I know what you mean, so yes, I can try to break up all those big blocks of info =) thanks for the reccomendation, and yeah, I just think Greek mythology gets so much more publicity than any other type of mythology, so I just decided to liven it up a bit =)

Good way to start a prologue :D I was interested all the way through but then again I love anything to do with mythology! The only thing I'd suggest is that in some places you do repeat some words and it puts a halt in my reading but nothing major. :) All in all, I enjoyed it :D
