Everyone has a little demon living inside of them...
"Your wish is my command. And unless you don't obey, you won't be my next prey."
They said don't judge a book by its cover. But what happens when you can barely read the book and can't see the cover? What if all the pages were ripped into pieces and the only way to read the book was to put them all together. I mean, it might take time, but in the end, I would be a step closer to knowing my destiny. Right?
Don't think about it. Just forget it. Forget about it. Don't let it consume you. Don't let it take over you, Tyler Mason. I repeated over and over again in my head hopping that it might help. My whole messed up train of thoughts that reached everywhere was cut off by a voice that was unrecognisable.
I turned around and couldn't help but scream like a little girl. I thought it was a ghost. All I was able to make out was a black figure, that sat on the edge of the window.
"Way to go for a bad boy." I didn't know who it was. It was all dark. But whoever was talking, seemed to be smirking. It sounded like a girl, though.
"Who are you?" I asked trying to keep my voice strong. Trying not to stutter. Trying to pull of my looks. My name...
"Why not find out for yourself?" The girl sounded like she was enjoying this. Like she had nothing to do but annoy and make fun of me. At that moment a car passed by the empty road, allowing some light to pass through the window and reflect on her face. More like her Mask.
Before I could reply or even react, she already had disappeared, leaving the curtains swaying from side to side.
