Art Of Hearts
"Marley" She whispered, the warmth of her breath, tickling his skin. He didn't think he could speak past his beating heart so he said nothing, his gaze fixed on her. She didn't move and the air felt thick. He would move in further, knowing the next step he took would bring his lips in contact with hers. But he didn't. He wanted her to want to kiss him as much as he wanted to kiss her and the longer it took for her to make a move, the harder it became for him to breathe.
"You...you..." Her lips trembled as she struggled to make her point known. He felt it from the warmth of the air that escaped her nostrils that she was struggling to breathe as well. "You can't kiss me and walk away again" She finally said. "You can't leave me hanging like that"
